- Description:
Dong Qichang once said, “Bai Taifu’s” Pipa Xing “was written by Zhang Bogao.” Therefore, he wrote it with Huaisu’s wild cursive brushwork, hoping to reproduce the pure and crazy style of the time. In addition, he also mentioned that only by using Mi Fu’s regular script method and stirrup method can it match this lyric, and the style may be similar to this one. For Dong Qichang, the choice of article content and style is often conscious, so as to achieve the effect of complementing each other. This volume is quite light and flexible by Mi Fu. It is a masterpiece of small cursive script, with flowing clouds and flowing water, beautiful structure and rich and dry ink.
