The shape of the incense shovel is a long handle, round cake shaped shovel surface. The whole vessel is hung with blue glaze, without obvious nail marks. The handle body is equipped with an unglazed exposed body “made in Jiajing year of the Ming Dynasty”, and there is still gold color left. At the same time, the handle end is unglazed and painted with gold color, red and black lines. This device is an accessory of the five supplies. After the incense is ignited, this shovel will comb the incense ash and slightly cover the incense to avoid excessive burning. During the reign of Emperor Jiajing of the Ming Dynasty, the ceremony of worshipping Qiao was prosperous, and many beautiful incense sticks were made.
