The Painting of Entering the Forbidden City depicts the emperor returning to the palace by water after leaving the capital to visit the mausoleum. This high headed scroll with a length of more than 3000 cm depicts more than 900 gorgeous guards and attendants holding various kinds of honor guards. Through the unimaginable grand pomp, it shows the incomparable imperial momentum during the retreat. This exhibition will show the whole volume from left to right in three times.
