This picture starts with a fisherman. After crossing the mountain boulders on the shore, we enter a peaceful and happy settlement. In the settlement, all kinds of wild flowers are in full bloom. Scholars either read books, or drink tea to talk, or lean on a couch to enjoy the cool. Others are fishermen fishing, child servants sweeping, preparing tea, children playing chess, dogs jumping, etc., which are full of descriptions of various life details. This lively presentation of the diversity of details is indeed Qiu Ying’s style, but the brushwork is slightly weak and should be imitated by later generations. The composition design, content and use of green and green in this picture show the image of the Peach Blossom Garden as a whole.
