- Description:
large mouth, round belly, square foot. This square and circle show a very special shape. The Kui pattern on the shoulder is decorated in the transition from round to square in shape, so the decorative unit forms an irregular square below the upper circle. The abdomen is decorated with animal face lines. The animal nose is like a snake’s head. It has bulging eyes, which is rare in Anyang. The four corners of the square abdomen are high relief. There are two large patches on the round part, and there are also large patches on the claw of one of the high relief bird patterns in the four corners of the abdomen, but the patterns are quite refined. The snake head nose with snake head shaped animal facial pattern on the four sides of the whole body is also carved in high relief, with a hollow inside. There is a casting mark between the shoulder standing carved animal head and the body, which may be a secondary casting. The ring feet are decorated with animal facial patterns that open mouth and crack teeth
