Open, shallow arc wall, with round foot, foot margin and mouth margin are thin and delicate. The inner and outer walls of the utensil are decorated with yellow glaze, and the body glaze is delicate, and the color is uniform and bright. The bottom of the vessel is white glaze, with blue and white “made in Hongzhi year of the Ming Dynasty” in double lines, six characters and double circles. The yellow glaze of the Ming Dynasty was made by hanging a high temperature transparent glaze on a plain bed, and then pouring the low temperature yellow glaze with the method of pouring glaze. After firing, the color was clear and bright without impurities, and the transparency was high. This kind of glaze was already made in Xuande. In the end of the Ming Dynasty, all the dynasties made it. However, the glaze juice is bright, clean and delicate, and the Hongzhi Dynasty is the best, known as “delicate yellow”. It is the color of the official family. It was forbidden to use it in the middle of the Ming Dynasty.
