- Description:
Zhang Yu (1283-1350), a native of Qiantang, Zhejiang, has the character of “Boyu” and “Ququ Waishi”. In his early years, Zhang Yu abandoned his home and went to Dadu to meet famous people like Yuji. After returning to the south, he moved in the Jiangnan literary circle as a literary Taoist. Zhang Yu and Huang Gongwang, both Taoists, have close contacts and often write poems for their paintings. Influenced by Zhao Mengfu, Zhang Yushu’s style of writing is clear and beautiful, which shows the spirit of Jin people from the laws of Tang people. In his later years, Zhang Yushu changed his style and presented his own style. This action pen is particular about posture, and the ending words are graceful and slightly natural, but not as dramatic as in old age, so it is speculated to be a work in the middle and late period.
