- Description:
Yu Que (1303-1358) was a Semu person of the Yuan Dynasty. He took the Tang Wu family from the Western Regions and lived in Wuwei, Gansu Province for generations. Later, he lived in Luzhou, Anhui Province with his father. In the first year of the Yuantong era (1333), he was a scholar of the Imperial Academy, supervised the imperial historian, and participated in the study of the Song, Liao and Jin Dynasties. This picture is written to the “Maid Nehan”, who is the danger that the Imperial Academy should serve (1303-1372). Yu Que’s seal inscription can still be seen on the right, with “July 19, the ninth year of the Zhizheng era” beside it, or the date inscribed by the addressee. Yu Que first thanked himself for his farewell friendship before going south; Because his friend went to Dadu in the north, Yu Que sent a letter to invite him to recommend him. Yu Que’s style of writing seems casual, but it has the character of Jin people.
