- Dynasty: Yuan dynasty
- Category: Ceramics
- Function: Container
- Material: Mineral/ceramic/porcelain
- Description:
The dish has six petals, a shallow slanted wall, a flat fold near the bottom with a narrow edge, and a short circle of feet. It is fired with full glaze branch firing method. The whole body is covered with blue glaze. The glaze is opaque, light cyan and grayish. Gray edges appear along the thin glaze at the mouth, and the glaze surface has brown patterns. Six burn points were arranged around the bottom, and dark gray fetal bodies were exposed in the branch marks. The shape of the object is similar to that unearthed from the tomb of Wang Xingzu (1371) in Nanjing. Since the tomb of Wang Xingzu was also buried with a blue and white goblet of Yuan Dynasty, it can be fired around the middle of the 14th century through the blue and white of Yuan Dynasty, which proves that this work was produced in the Yuan Dynasty. The burning point at the bottom of the utensil is also similar to the objects unearthed from the Laohudong cave in Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province, which further explains the possible source.
