- Description:
The shape is imitated from bronze ware, with a small round mouth, a straight long neck, and a tubular ear on both sides. The upper edge of the ear is flush with the mouth. Flat round abdomen, flat bottom, shallow ring feet. It is fired by cushion firing method. The inside and outside are coated with blue glaze. The glaze is moist, and the color is green with white and slightly gray. Gray edges appear at the thin glaze of the mouth and upper edge of the ears. The surface of the device is brown with brown stripes. There is no glaze on the foot and ochre juice is applied. Gray black body is exposed at local bruises. Examples of similar dimensions can also be found in the tombs of Ren Renfa’s family in Qingpu County, Shanghai, and in the Yuan Dynasty kiln site of Tiger Cave in Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province.
