Zhang Yu (A.D. 1283-13550), a native of Qiantang, Zhejiang Province, was named Boyu, with the title of “Qu Wai Shi”. A famous Taoist figure in the Yuan Dynasty. Ni Zan called his poetry, calligraphy and painting “the highest quality” because of his elegant literary talent and elegant calligraphy and painting.
