Zhao Mengfu (1254-1322 AD), whose name is Ziang, is the Taoist priest Songxue. Poetry and prose are clear and distant. Calligraphy and painting follow the ancient style of the Tang and Song Dynasties, and they are worshipped by later generations. The picture shows Zi Gong seeing Yuan Xian to show that the gentleman is happy with morality. The story comes from Confucius Family Language. There is no chap in this picture, only the outline is drawn, and the back is filled with green. The patterns of things and clothes are soft and powerful, which has the ancient style of Tang Dynasty. At the bottom right of the picture, there is a thousand character serial number of “Suo”. At the back of the volume, there is Xiang Yuanbian who wrote, “It was re installed in Tianlai Pavilion in the autumn and August of the thirtieth year of Jiajing in the Ming Dynasty (1558).”.
