- Description:
This painting is made of blue ground damask with colorful embroidery of plum blossom, narcissus, camellia, and two pairs of magpies. The magpies are primitive in shape and have both verve and charm. The color is elegant, the needle is flat, the thread is loose, and the long needle is interlaced for flat embroidery, with less change in color and thread. The plum stem embroidery thread is almost worn out, revealing the white thread of the embroidery manuscript. The grass is on the slope, and the painting is added with ink after embroidering. The works of Yuan Embroidery are rarely handed down. From this picture, you can have a glimpse of Yuan Embroidery.
