- Description:
This work was actually made in the late Ming Dynasty. Cui Yanfu’s money was added after mending. The rock in the painting stands in the smoke and water melting room. The Emperor Qianlong praised the “cloud valley channeling” and arranged it on the wall of Jingji Villa. Almost every visit has an inscription. From the 34th year of Qianlong’s reign (1769) to the second year of Jiaqing’s reign (1797), there were a total of 12 pieces, five of which were written directly in the heart of the painting, and the remaining seven were inscribed on paper and mounted around. This practice of repeated postscript and repacking is quite common in the paintings in Jingji Villa, and Tang Yin’s Tea Tasting Picture is also an example.
