Description:
This rectangular fragment of blue satin damask with the pattern of miscellaneous treasures has a repeat of 4.7 cm in the weft direction, and a fold on one side. It probably dates from the late Qing dynasty, and is therefore much later than all the other textiles from Cave 17. It is likely that the fragment was added to the cave deposits shortly after its discovery or mixed with the finds given to Stein during his first visit. Weave structures: Warp: silk, untwisted, single, blue, 84 ends/cm; Weft: silk, untwisted, single, blue, 28 lats/cm. Weave structure: 5-end satin damask. 長方形暗花緞織物，藍色，一側可見明顯折痕。織物以正反五枚緞紋織成，雜寶卷雲紋樣，雜寶中可以確認的是犀角，圖案緯向循環約爲4.7cm。從這件織物的組織結構、絲線加工及使用的圖案來看，其年代遠遠晚于藏經洞內發現的其它織物，應該是王圓籙開啓藏經洞之後混入的晚清織物。 組織結構： 經線：絲，無撚，單根排列，藍色，84根/cm；緯線：絲，無撚，單根排列，藍色，28根/cm；組織：5枚經緞地上以5枚緯緞組織起花。
