Western-style teapot with a small foot, broad shoulder, spout, integral angular handle and original domed cover with a knob. Made in porcelain decorated with a transfer-print, hand painted in coloured enamels with a beautiful lady in traditional robes seated by bamboo in a garden. She leans her left elbow on a rock. No inscription on the other side. Gold lines round the cover, collar, spout and down the handle. Base glazed with a green factory seal..
