Description:
Carved ivory table screen. One one side is carved with a figure standing in a garden who is clad in the gauze hat and holds a flag in one hand and a whisk in the other. Bowing before him is a figure who is attended by two servants. The other side has a leaf shaped panel under an archaistic bronze vessel. The vessel was orginially stained in green.
