Liu Xin’s “Miscellaneous Records of Xijing” recorded that in the seventh year of Emperor Gaodi of the Han Dynasty (2000 BC), Xiao Xiang’s state-run Weiyang Palace. The buildings in this picture are extremely magnificent, which can be used to understand the specific shape of the palace in the Han Dynasty. In addition to the neat and delicate boundary painting palace, the background is matched with rocks and trees, and the brushwork is gentle and smooth. It almost originates from Li Cheng and Guo Xi, while it is slightly closer to Tang Di. It shows that the style of Li Guo School was loved by painters in the Yuan Dynasty and was widely used.
