Description:
This rectangular fragment was originally used as a banner streamer, perhaps a side streamer or a bottom streamer. It is a blue damask on plain weave, and there are noticeable stains on the surface. The two edges have been rolled and sewn neatly. The concentric lozenge pattern was formed by 3/1 twill in the Z direction on a 1/1 plain weave foundation. The pattern repeat is about 0.9 cm in the warp direction and 0.8 cm in the weft direction. Weave structures: Warp: silk, untwisted, single, blue, 52 ends/cm; Weft: silk, untwisted, single, blue, 26 lats/cm. Weave structure: 3/1Z twill for pattern on 1/1 plain weave for foundation. 長方形綺幡帶,已殘,藍色,表面有明顯的黃斑及汙迹,兩側有卷邊。該織物以右斜紋組織在平紋地上織出菱格圖案,紋樣較小,圖案經向循環約爲0.9cm,緯向循環約爲0.8cm。 組織結構: 經線:絲,無撚,單根排列,藍色,52根/cm;緯線:絲,無撚,單根排列,藍色,26根/cm;組織:1/1平紋地上以3/1Z向斜紋起花。
