Description:
Porcelain stem goblet with underglaze blue decoration. This thickly potted deep stem goblet has rounded sides and an everted rim and stands on a high partially hollow stem with a narrow top and wide foot. Outlined in pale blue are designs around the belly of auspicious symbols, including a stone chime, conch shell and castanets, surrounded by flame-like clouds. Inside the glazed foot is an apocryphal four-character Chenghua reign mark.
