Description:
This porcelain saucer-dish is painted inside and out with a stiffly arranged design in underglaze blue and overglaze coloured enamels of the wucai palette. Fish including carp and mandarin fish are shown swimming in different attitudes in a stream with lotus and other aquatic plants. The base carries a four character kaishu mark in a double square.
