- Description:. Hook beak, short neck, protruding chest, short tail, thick legs. A dragon stands on the head of a bird, with a large head and a short body. On the dragon’s back, on the bird’s chest and back, there are carved teeth. The eyes of dragons and birds are typical of the word “minister” in the late Shang Dynasty. The eyes of birds are decorated with human eyebrows. The bird’s body is carved with a connected arc, and its beak is carved with a parallel “human” character pattern. The lowest part of the whole utensil, namely the part of the bird’s claw, forms a tenon, which proves that the utensil was embedded in some perishable substance
