Gu An (active from 1345 to 1373 AD), a native of Huaidong, is a calligrapher. He is a calligrapher, and imitates Zhao Mengfu. He paints bamboo with a powerful brush. Ni Zan (A.D. 1301-1374), born in Wuxi, Jiangsu Province, was named Yunlin. Shanshui is one of the four great masters of the Yuan Dynasty.
