Description:
A monk’s / lama’s robe (?). Made from twenty-one pieces of red twill woven woollen cloth; hand stitched together along selvedges. Four areas of small tie-dyed patterning in the middle of the cloth, creating circular motifs. Colour of cloth somewhat uneven as dyed after weaving. Long sides of cloth (warp ends) turned and hand stitched. A few small holes.
