Ma Wan (active from 1342 to 1366 AD), a native of Jinling (now Nanjing). Words are written in Bi, and numbers are blunt. Good at landscape, calligraphy and poetry. Every time you meet a good landscape, you will always ask for a few simple things. In the snow of the mountains, they often make flat hills and broken walls. The broken stone at the foot of the mountain is square, so it feels like a dense iceberg. The full effect brush looks vigorous and round, and the ink looks simple and simple but quiet, which is also a unique style in Ma Wenbi’s paintings. According to the title on the picture, it is known that this was painted by Ma in the ninth year of Zhizheng (1349) for Zhuxi’s Empress.
