Description:
Octagonal plate. Coat of arms of Chase. Made of enamelled porcelain. Diaper border on the rim, in the centre a coat of arms “Gules four crosses patance argent, on a canton azure a lion passant; crest a lion rampant sable holding between the paws a cross flory or”. Service made for Sir Richard Chase, Sheriff of Essex in 1744.
