Plate. Coat of arms of Campbell, which coat is frequently quartered by a lymphad for Lorne. Here the Campbell coat replaces the sail on the ship of Lorne (as on a number of bookplates) “Gyronny of eight or and sable a crescent for difference”; crest, “A boar’s head erased or”; and an inscription. Made of enamelled porcelain.
