  • Description:. Three rows of patterns are arranged in a row. The neck and feet are decorated with Kui patterns on the background of thunder patterns, and the abdomen is decorated with checkered ivory patterns. All of these patterns are used in the Shang Dynasty. The ivory patterns are only high and convex, about 1.8 cm. Their sharp projections are different from the round and soft Yin Ruins. They are similar to those of Qishan Mountain Gui in Shaanxi Province in the late Shang Dynasty and those of the early Western Zhou Dynasty (Freer, No.66) hidden by Freer Gallery. Therefore, this Age was placed at the end of Shang Dynasty and the beginning of Zhou Dynasty
