  • Description:
The flower mouth is washed and molded. The perimeter is divided into eight petals. The bottom is flat without feet and the bottom is slightly concave. The whole vessel is made of full glaze and branch firing method. The whole body is covered with blue glaze, and the glaze color is grey green. There are traces of wiping glaze and inlaying under the mouth, and the thin glaze along the mouth shows a brown edge. The glaze is covered with brown patterns, and the bottom is lined with six studs, with dark gray carcass exposed in the branch marks. The shape of the objects and the characteristics of the firing points are similar to those of the remnant specimens unearthed at the Tiger Cave cave site in Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province. Most of these works were handed down in the Qing Palace. For example, another celadon fancy wash (hence porcelain 017149) originally stored in the Qing Palace is an example of the same kind. There are eight, nine, and ten different changes in the peripheral wall of this type of organ, and eight valves are the most common.
