  • Description:
Round mouth, deep wall slightly bulging, flat bottom without feet. The whole vessel is covered with blue glaze, the glaze color is green, the glaze surface is full of flakes, and some ice cracks are found. Because it is fired by pad firing method, there is a circle of unglazed “snake eye” mark on the bottom. There are traces of grinding glaze along the mouth. It has been handed down with a wooden seat. On the bottom, it is engraved with the words “Song Ru Kiln Panchi Washing”, “Jia”, and “Ancient Emperor Playing”. From the perspective of today’s ceramic history, this work is undoubtedly the official kiln of the Southern Song Dynasty. However, Emperor Qianlong regarded the official kiln of the Southern Song Dynasty as a Ru kiln, indicating that he sometimes did not distinguish between the official kiln and the Ru kiln.
