  • Description:
This bowl is light and thin, and is full of glaze except for the rim. There is no glaze on the rim of the bowl, which is called “Mangkou” by the ancients. This work is inlaid with a circle of copper clasps along the rim. The mouth of the bowl is slightly open, with deep arc wall, flat bottom and short circle feet. The outer wall of the bowl is plain without decorative patterns. The inner edge of the bowl is decorated with a circle of ripples, and a string pattern is added at the top and bottom. The printing technique is mainly used inside the bowl. On the inner wall of the bowl, there are two phoenixes dancing between four seasons flowers, such as chrysanthemum, lotus, rose, etc. The inner bottom of the bowl is flat and concave, and a branch of peony is decorated. The printing pattern is clear and delicate because of the deep engraving. The glaze is white with blue in it, which is the characteristic of Jingdezhen white porcelain.
