The jade is bright white, and the cracks become ochre. Carved like an elephant, with rounded limbs and ears, it looks like a young elephant, with a pair of teeth sticking out from the mouth, in a dynamic posture of sitting up. In the Qing Dynasty, it was stored with a white jade sheep in a butterfly shaped paint box.
