- Description:
Irregular long oval green gray big jade seed, with light brown Qinban in some parts. There is an old pine tree among the carved mountains and rocks, surrounded by auspicious clouds. The crane flies above, the turtle walks below, the old man and the girl with the hat and stick stand still, and the deer walks beside. The sculptors are simple and thick, and the hollow inner walls of rocks and old pines are poorly polished. The clothes and expressions of the elderly are quite similar to the figures on the jade belt plate unearthed from the tomb of Zhao Zhongyan of the Southern Song Dynasty in Shangrao, Jiangxi Province, and the posture and clothes of the girls are similar to the ladies’ belt ornaments unearthed from the site of Dadu of the Yuan Dynasty in Beijing. The lower end of the whole device is an unpolished plane about 3.8cm in length and 3.8cm in width, on which two deep holes are drilled, indicating that the mountain can be fixed to the upper end of other objects with metal rivets.
