  Straight wall mouth closing basin type, shallow abdomen. The upper and lower boundary of the belly is the horizontal string pattern, which is cast into a shallow relief geometric rotary pattern, forming a decoration similar to the heavy ring pattern in the late Western Zhou Dynasty, with prominent round milk patterns between them. In contrast to the “Northern Song Dynasty Politics and Beans” with bean handles in the Asian Museum in Sanucci, France, this piece originally had bean handles, but it has now been lost. There is a circle of twenty-eight characters on the outer wall of the mouth: “Only the third month of Shaoxing Bingyin was an ugly month, and the emperor ordered it to be a bean. He gave it to Shichen Hui’s family temple to recommend potamon, which is only for permanent use and enjoyment.” It was once collected by Liu Tizhi.
