  • Dynasty: Southern Song dynasty
  • Category: Ceramics
  • Function: Stationery and stationery
  • Material: Mineral/ceramic/porcelain
  • Description:
This wash is in the shape of a ten petal peony flower. The mouth is slightly introverted. The outer abdomen undulates with the flower shape, with no hoops. The outsole is concave. The whole vessel is full of glaze, with only six nail marks at the bottom and a piece of stripped glaze. The black clay is exposed. The glaze is grey and green, and the glaze around the mouth is thin, reflecting the fetal soil, showing the common “purple mouth” characteristics of the legendary Ge kilns. The enamel is opaque and bright, with obvious bubbles and black and yellow flakes, and the tentacles have a sense of fluctuation due to different glazes. Also, the wooden seat attached to the wash was damaged, and a “C” was engraved on the bottom.
