  • Description:
The mouth of the six petal sunflower flower has a slightly deep inclined wall, and turns inward to form a waist folded disc at the foot turning point. The disc center is slightly concave, with a flat bottom and a short circle of feet. The body is thick, and the celadon glaze is applied. The glaze is gray green with a slight beige tone, and the glaze surface has dark fine grains. Apply glaze to the foot border, and the foot border is unglazed. Apply ochre fetal protection juice to the exposed part. The bottom is engraved with Emperor Qianlong’s “Two Poems on the Plate of Ge Kiln”: “Xuancheng’s modern system is still excellent, and Yao Xiang’s second life is far away. Those who laugh at sunflower flowers are just like martyrs who follow their names.”. At the end of the poem, the chronicle of “Emperor Qianlong Gengxu’s Spring Imperial Title” (the 55th year of Qianlong’s reign: 1790) was signed, and a seal of “ancient incense” was affixed.
