The square furnace is inclined and straight with deep walls, with a flat bottom, a narrow edge protruding from the outer bottom, and four outspread cloud shaped feet at four corners. The carcass is thick, and it is fired by the combination of branch and pad. Green glaze is applied inside and outside, and it turns gray green after burning, and part of it turns yellow. The lower rim of the mouth is slightly pink, and the glaze has two kinds of patterns: light gray and transparent. There are four nails in the center of the inner bottom, and one on each side of the upper edge of the peripheral wall. The sole of the foot is unglazed, painted with dark ochre juice, and part of the body is gray and black. The bottom is engraved with the imperial poem of Emperor Qianlong’s “Chanting the Square Furnace of the Imperial Kiln”, which reads: “Ceramics are like standing upright, and it is difficult to change the way. Zhang Yu is in harmony with the flow, and Zhu Yun is right to hold it. It is known that this is the highest quality. The Cilu is the official kiln, and it was built in Xiuneisi. At that time, Cai and Wang were inferior to Zhang Yu. They talked about the world with tools, and could use people to think. The round bottle has been seen many times, and the square one can only see this. They have been placed in the sandalwood shelf for a long time, but they did not chant sincerity
