This water injection is slightly octagonal, with thin body and full glaze, and the glaze strap is open. The face is convex and the bottom is concave. There are two round holes and two agate buttons on the surface. The belly is hollow and can hold water. There are three nail marks at the bottom, and the gray black color is exposed. Wen Zhenheng, in the discussion of Shuizhu in Volume VII of Changwu Annals, once compared several kinds of copper and ceramic Shuizhu. He thinks that all kinds of ceramic water jets are not as elegant as copper water jets. Among the ceramic fountains, the square, round, standing melon, lying melon, double peach, lotus room, etc. of “Official Brother Bai Ding” were first cited. This exhibit can be regarded as the square type fountains mentioned by him. In addition, there is a copy of official celadon double lotus room water injection in the hospital, which together with this piece reflects the good times of the literati in Jiangnan.
