Belled Gu wine vessel with animal mask design, early Shang to early Anyang Period

has thin walls, small differences in caliber, abdominal diameter and bottom diameter, and flat abdominal wall curve. The belly is decorated with the animal face pattern of thin line shallow relief, and the animal eye is not obvious, and there is a ring band pattern as the edge decoration. There are three thin lines of shallow relief string patterns on the ring feet, and three large cross shaped foot holes pass through. The shape, decoration and three large foot holes of the whole vessel are close to the North Erqi New Road Gu in Zhengzhou and the Luan Gu in Anhui. They all belong to the early style from Erligang to Yin Ruins. There is a small ring at the bottom of the utensil. The ring is a bell. There is a tongue inside the bell. It can be seen faintly through the cross hole of the ring foot. Hold the whole device and the bell rings. It may be a secondary casting. This kind of Linggu was once unearthed in Shanxi Stone Tower
