Decorated with hand-woven band made from three joined weft-strips, with hooked weft pattern in mid blue and dark red silks, applied to side front and back neck edge. Adjacent are three applied strips of plain cloth, which are decorated blocks of fine embroidery. The pattern is of closely built-up hooked motifs in blue and maroon silk. The front sides have flashes of ‘tin’ embroidery and decorated warp tassels. On back, below neck, there is an applied panel of ‘tin ‘decoration, with long fringe. Twisted warps have been grouped into six and crossed and knotted to form a short area of lattice work. ‘Tin’ strips are then wrapped around the threads.
