Comments:Text from Corrigan 2001: 53: taijiang county, qiandongnan prefecture. Woman’s Festive Jacket. Collared jacket with a central front opening, with decoration on the sleeves, shoulders, neck and front facings. The base cloth is hand-woven cotton, indigo-dyed to a dark blue. There is no inner lining. The finely drawn and detailed decorated panels are embroidered in floss silk in satin stitch over papercuts.
