Description:
Soft paste porcelain tripod of archaic bronze ‘ding’ form, with squared mouth-rim and two loop handles. The tripod has crazed cream glaze on the exterior. There is an incised band of key fret around the bowl section.

Many incense burners of this form were made in white porcelain at the Dehua kilns in Fujian province but the body material is rather different and they are higher-fired.
