This white porcelain pillow made for baby’s couch shows the superb technology of Ding porcelain in shaping and decoration. The works fired in Ding Kiln are mainly white porcelain, with excellent molding technology, fine and smooth glaze, white and yellowish glaze, and decorative techniques such as shallow scratch, deep and printing. The glaze color of this baby pillow is white and warm. After the head and body are connected by the left and right mold respectively, the body and head are joined, and then the face is carved. At the same time, give full play to the different decorative techniques of Ding Kiln. The flowers on the hem of the gown, the spherical pattern on the vest and the cloud dragon pattern on the couch are presented by the pattern printing technique, and the back is carved with tangled branches and peonies. The pattern is clear and the lines are smooth. The two can be matched freely and appropriately. In addition, there is an imperial poem carved on the bottom. It can be seen that Emperor Qianlong compared this kind of poem to a police pillow. He was not only vigilant and encouraged himself to work hard, but also cooperated with other chants
