Description:
A man’s (?) head-band / cap; longest over ears. Made of navy blue tabby cotton cloth (upper), with lines of stitching giving a ribbed effect, and black woven synthetic cloth (lower). Mid-front has applied passementerie made of two endless knots (macrame) and tassels (red cotton yarn, gold-coloured metal-wrapped thread). Similar, smaller applied passementerie on back. Head-band lined with red tabby wool cloth with nap. Long black silk damask streamer (double thickness) stitched to back. [Loose: two imitation turquoise beads and imatation amber beads (all plastic) once secured to back of head-band.]
