Description:
A nun’s hat; conical-shaped, with upturned brim. Made from brown tabby wool woven cloth with nap. Yellow/green wool fleece felted to twill weave wool ground applied to deep band [7 cms]. (U-shaped cutout at back.) Lined with several pieces of red hand woven twill woven wool cloth. Small holes in ground cloth and fleece worn away from brim.
