A man’s hat (?). Made of flat, scallop-shaped red tabby wool cloth (many small holes), lined with coarse cream tabby cotton cloth (dirty). All edges piped with black twill cotton cloth. String attached to centre top. Damaged cloth button at lower left side, indicating a 3D rather than a flat object? Many small holes in woollen cloth; evidence of former insect damage.)
