Description:
The pillow is rectangular, the upper and lower pillow surfaces are slightly concave, the perimeter of each surface is shallow with double lines, and the plane grate is rippled with water. The device is hollow, with a round hole in the center of one side, and five branch burn marks at the four ends of the round hole and the side. It is revealed that the porcelain pillow was formed by vertical firing, and the gray and white body was exposed at the unglazed part. The whole body is covered with blue and white porcelain glaze, the glaze layer is thin and uneven, and dark flakes appear locally. The rectangular bottom is engraved with Emperor Qianlong’s “Chanting the Porcelain Pillow of the Ge Kiln”: “What generation did the porcelain pillow come from? The elder brother is like Dong Kiln. The gold filigree shop is not algae, and the iron foot festival is not fish. The south pomegranate is heavy, and the precious jade is not jade. It is a royal poem to present to the lacquered garden officials, and the dream butterflies are free and unfettered.”. At the end of the poem, the poem was signed with the title of Emperor Qianlong in the Spring of the Second Year of the reign of Emperor Qianlong (30th year of the reign of Emperor Qianlong: 1765), and two seals, “A few moments of pleasure” and “a good taste”, were affixed.
