  • Description:
It has a wide mouth, a slightly deep wall, a flat bottom, and a slightly curly foot. The body is thin and covered with sky blue glaze, and the thin glaze shows light pink luster. Ice cracks can be seen at the glazes on the inner wall. There are three branch burn marks left at the bottom circumference, from which the earth colored tire can be seen. However, according to the director of Sun Xinmin, most of the porcelain pieces unearthed at the kiln site revealed light gray or gray white after being broken again. On the bottom of the inscription is Emperor Qianlong’s “Chanting the Plate of Ru Kiln”: “Zhao Songqing Kiln built Ruzhou, and it is said that the end of agate is oil. Now Jingde has no rules, and it also has its own blue treasure color floating”, an imperial poem. At the end of the poem, the chronicle of “Qianlong Bingshenchun Imperial Title” (the 41st year of Qianlong: 1776) was signed, and a seal of “Langrun” was affixed. The Qianlong Emperor’s explanation of the word “Jingde” in his notes to his poems is that “the town is famous, ceramics are all here, and there are official kilns and civilian kilns”, which reflects his time
