Comments:Harrison-Hall 2001:The vase was modelled after a contemporary Yuan bronze or silver prototype such as the bronze vase recovered from the Sinan shipwreck of 1323. A vase of similar form but with iron-brown splodges, also dating to the Yuan period, is in the collection of Mr and Mrs Jack Chia.
