Description:
‘Famille rose’ figure of a pheasant. The brightly coloured pheasant is modelled with one foot raised and the other perched on a multi-coloured rocky base, naturalistically represented with different textures for the scaly feet, the claws and the beak, and with dense pink breast feathers, clearly distinguished wing and back feathers and a long colourful tail.

Comments:Harrison-Hall and Krahl 1994:A porcelain tube would originally have been attached to the base, possibly to contain a taper.
